Privacy policy

Under the GDPR regulation (General Data Protection Regulation), which came into force across the European Union on 25th May 2018, we must ensure that we are protecting your personal data rights and freedoms. This privacy policy describes how we will do that.
We securely hold only your basic contact details and your postcode, for the purpose of contacting you about the Herts. Valleys Hospital Solution campaign and in order to measure the geographical distribution of our supporters.
If you have made a donation, we do not retain your payment details, but we would record your name and district, unless you ask at any time to be anonymous.
We have previously received your express consent to be informed of updates from us. Additionally, we are operating on the basis that your sign-up means we have a legitimate interest in keeping you informed about news, fundraising and local events which Herts. Valleys Hospital Solution would like to invite you to attend or support.

We use mailchimp.com a US company to collect and record subscriber information.

We also use Paypal to collect and process donations and they may at your option pass on your details to us.

We will not share your contact data with any other organisation unless you give us your permission.

You have the right to see the information we hold within one month of requesting it and to have it removed or corrected. If you would like your details removed from our database or want to see the information we hold, please let us know by e-mailing us at info@hertsvalleyshospital.co.uk.
